Georgie Kelly made it four goals in three games as the Tooban native lifted some of the pressure on Carlisle United and boss Mark Hughes. 

United also needed a dramatic injury-time penalty save from goalkeeper Gabe Breeze to secure the relegation-threatened side a vital 3-2 win against League Two leaders Port Vale at Brunton Park.

Carlisle took the lead in the 36th minute through Kelly - who also picked up the Player of the Match award - and they doubled their advantage eight minutes later through Matty Dennis.

The Cumbrians' excellent performance continued in the 49th minute when Aaron Hayden got his third of the season to make it 3-0.

But Jayden Stockley pulled one back for the visitors on the hour mark before Sam Hart made it 3-2 20 minutes from time.

Port Vale had a last-gasp chance to complete the turnaround through a Lorent Tolaj penalty, but Breeze denied him from the spot.
