Culdaff's Erin McLaughlin to leave Portsmouth this summer

The Culdaff woman moved to Portsmouth from Peamount United in the Women’s Premier Division last summer and made 24 appearances for the Championship outfit

Erin McLaughlin will leave Portsmouth this summer after a season at the Fratton Park outfit.

McLaughlin is one of six players set to depart the club.

The Culdaff woman moved to Pompey from Peamount United in the Women’s Premier Division last summer.

Portsmouth finished ninth in the Championship this season and McLaughlin made 24 appearances for Jay Sadler’s team.

After three seasons at Peamount, McLaughlin - a Republic of Ireland senior international - moved to Portsmouth on a 12-month contract last July.

In 63 games at Peamount she netted 21 goals having previously played for Culdaff and Sion Swifts.
