Carlisle United and Boreham Wood shared the points after an entertaining 3-3 draw at Brunton Park with Georgie Kelly on the mark for the winners.

The visitors went in front five minutes before the interval when Luke Norris found the net, and they carried that advantage into half-time. Carlisle responded well after the restart, with Burt native Kelly levelling matters in the 49th minute.

The home side then pushed on, as Regan Linney struck twice, on 53 and 71 minutes, to put them 3-1 up and seemingly in control.

Boreham Wood were not finished, however. Norris reduced the deficit with his second goal of the game on 79 minutes, before Charlie O’Connell struck an equaliser six minutes from time.

Both sides had chances late on, but neither could find a winner, and the points were shared at the end of a lively contest.
