On the hour mark the home side doubled their lead when a quick break Dohertys effort was saved by the legs of Oisin Burke  but Aaron Porter followed up to slot home.

Again the point had another chance to reduce the deficit with Denim Mclaughlin finding Cillian McElhinney but Noone saved well. Clonmany sealed the points on 76 minutes after Brennan s cross from the left was headed home by Doherty.

They added a fourth  after  Porter ran onto a Paddy Doherty  pass controlling before curling the ball around the advancing Burke. Clonmany completed the scoring when substitute Mark Doherty pounced on a defensive mistake to slot home the fifth and final goal.

The visitors were then reduced to ten after Adrian Donaghey Doherty was red carded for foul play  and the Hearts sealed the points with Hussein releasing Jack Gill who composed himself before firing in off the underside of the bar.

Cockhill Celtic 5

They added another then when a McColgan cross was dummied by McColgan for Bradley to run onto and slot home from ten yards. From the kick off the home side won possession and when the ball is delivered into the area Conor Graham fired past Doherty.

On the stroke of half time Cockhill added a fifth goal when Bradley won the race for the ball before squaring to McDaid to slot to the empty net. On the restart an effort from distance from Darren  Gallagher for the visitors fails  to trouble McNulty in the home goal.

At the other ned Bradley cuts inside from the right before unleashing an effort which Doherty  parried but Rudden fired the follow up wide.

There was little action then until the 79th minute when Garbhan Friel reacted quickest  after hesitation inside the area but  from a tight angle his effort is well saved by Doherty.

This seemed to spur the home side on and when Friel fed Bradley he sidefooted wide .   Bradley then had an effort saved by Doherty but Liam Grant blazed the rebound over the bar.

Just after the half hour the home side equalised after a superb ball from Bonner found Billy Hume and  he lobbed the advancing Stephen Teles for a classy finish. Culdaff continued on the front foot with Teles saving from Keith Norris before another effort from Hume crashed off the bar.

The visitors then responded and after a dangerous Eamom Donnelly free into the area a combination of Ryan Greene and Douglas diverted the ball over the bar.

Cockhill RES 0

In a frenetic affair the youths started well with  Conor McDaid seeing one effort drift off target before unleashing a free from the D which Eoin Colhoun gathered.

The reserves replied and Ethan O’Tooles inviting cross evaded everyone before a Cahir McDaid free is blocked by the wall to Cian McCarron whose well struck effort was blocked by a defender.

The youths then had a period of pressure with Mason McDaid heading wide from a corner before  on the stroke of half time Dean O Donnell headed over at the near post following a corner. After early pressure from the reserves on the restart it was the youths who came closest to opening the scoring.

Colhoun superbly tipped over Conor McDaids effort and from the corner Ryan Downey headed over when well placed. Grant then advanced into the area but his effort only found the side netting.

The deadlock was broken by the youths on 71 minutes when Devin McCarron drove forward and fed Grant  to shot low across Colhoun to the far corner from fifteen yards.

The reserves tried hard to get back on terms and Darragh O Donnell had to be alert to gather at the feet of Niall Breslin before Cahir Mcdaids good strike flew just past the post. O’Donnell then held another Cahir McDaid effort  before in the final minute the keeper had to be at his best to tip away a brilliant Christy Doyle cross from the feet of the inrushing Cahir McDaid.

Rovers responded well to this setback and Holland saw a header saved by O’Neill before he also denied Conor McCloskey with a superb finger tip save.

At the other end McCormick saw an effort saved by Mclaughlin before McFadden shot over when well placed. Rovers pressed hard to try and salvage a point with an O’Brien free gathered on the line by O’Neill and McCloskey firing a left footed effort over the bar from distance.

The final chances of the game fell to  the home side when McFadden advanced on a  mazy run from half way  but shot over and then McCormick was off target from distance.

The resultant corner was cleared out to Clonmany's right wing and  Gill's lofted ball into the box was headed over Culdaff keeper Gavin McLaughlin and inside the left hand post by Clonmany's Logan McDaid to give Clonmany an early lead.

Culdaff had grown into the game more as the half progressed and had a great chance to reduce the deficit just after the half hour when Anthony Kelly won a chase for the ball on the right side of the Clonmany box and crossed to the back post for Bryan McCandless who headed goalwards only to see Clonmany keeper Kyrin  Doherty pull off a fine save to tip the ball onto the bar and behind for a corner.

The visitors then reduced the deficit  in added time at the end of the first half after  Bryan McCandless was adjudged to have been fouled in the box by Kyrin Doherty and he  stepped up to shoot low to Kyrin's right hand side sending  the keeper  the wrong way.

The second half was a tighter affair and both teams battled to control midfield with often the final ball being overhit or cleared by a defender.

Clonmany's Lorcan McGonigle broke down the left wing on 69 minutes before pulling a ball back to McEleney just inside the box but his sweeping shot was held by McLaughlin in the Culdaff goal.
