A Regan Linney brace, alongside goals from Harvey Macadam and Kelly, secured the three points for the Blues despite strikes from Jayden Clarke and Harvey Bunker for Forest Green.

Carlisle led 2-1 at half-time, but Bunker restored parity early in the second half.

Macadam fired United into the lead in the 86th minute, striding onto Linney’s pass and hammering the ball home.
