Keadue Rovers F.C. has been granted planning permission to construct a new seated spectator stand at Central Park, coinciding with the club's 130th anniversary in 2026.
The stand is part of a larger redevelopment plan for the club's facilities. Construction is set to begin in May 2026, with a targeted completion date during the 2026/2027 season.

To help fund the project, the Donegal Junior League Premier Division outfit will launch a sponsorship drive in January 2026, where fans can purchase and name an individual seat for €300.
Chairman James Boyle praised the committee for their "incredible work" to date in securing the planning permission.
Further plans for the redevelopment of the old dressing rooms and car park are also in the works.
“Firstly, I want to thank the committee for their incredible work in getting the planning for our new spectator stand approved,” Boyle said.
“It can be a lengthy process, but their due diligence and knowledge was second to none. We are delighted that the new spectator stand will undergo construction in May 2026.
“It is fitting that in the 130th anniversary of our club we are embarking on this project, and we also have plans for the redevelopment of the old dressing rooms, and car park at Keadue.
“We will launch a fundraising drive in January, and we know that we will as always get phenomenal support from our local community.
“Keadue Rovers has, and always will play a huge role in our local community, and the latest development is an exciting new chapter in our 130-year history.”
