Over 500 people gathered at the Clanree Hotel on Thursday evening to toast a successful season for Bonagee United’s schoolboys and youth teams.

Individual award winners were presented to players from teams competing in structured leagues.

Among the highlights on the night was the Bonagee United youths, who won four pieces of silverware in 2025.

Our young players from 5-9 all received medals to recognise their ongoing development and dedication with taster sessions having taken place for the youngest players.

Mentors Lucy Boyle Laverty and Lochlainn Coyle turned up each week to help with the group and were aided by helpers Sadie Harvey, James Harvey, Ryan Gildea and Abbie Clarke.

Members heard of some exciting plans for the club going forward from MC Chris McNulty while the club’s loyal sponsors and supporters were hailed for their ever-present efforts.

Next up is the Bonagee United girls and ladies team award which take place on Thursday next, November 27.
