Patrick Ferry
Patrick Ferry has signed for Athlone Town from fellow First Division side Treaty United.
Gaoth Dobhair native Ferry spent two and a half seasons at Finn Park after joining in 2023 and scored ten goals, but left for the Limerick club in the summer of 2025.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a good spell at the Markets Field, scoring five times in 15 games for the club as they reached the play-off final, losing out to Bray Wanderers.
A former youth prospect with Derry City, Ferry also played for the senior side before a move to Ballinamallard.

Athlone Town finished bottom of the table in 2025 after a surprisingly poor season, after being tipped to challenge for the title at the beginning of the year.
Ferry could make his debut against his old club, with Ian Ryan’s side hosting Finn Harps in the first game of the season.
