Fanad United face Cork trip in FAI Cup first round

Fanad United have been given an away draw in the First Round of the FAI Cup.

The Traigh-A-Loch men will take on Douglas Hall AFC in the first round of the cup.

Arthur Lynch's side qualified for the competition by reaching the quarter-finals of last year's FAI Junior Cup.

Douglas Hall reached the semi-final of the FAI Intermediate Cup last season, losing out to eventual winners, College Corinthians on penalties.

The Cork side are currently top of the Munster Senior League Division 1 table, and are unbeaten after twelve games, drawing just once, having been relegated from the Premier Division last season.

The First Round will take place on the week ending Sunday, 17 May with full fixtures to be announced in due course.
