Finn Harps director Aidan McNelis confirms he has stepped down from position

McNelis had indicated last year that he intended to step down, but was re-elected at the most recent Annual General Meeting (AGM) in December

Aidan McNelis has stepped down from his position on the Board of Directors at Finn Harps.

McNelis had been the club’s Engagement/Supporter Liaison Officer. 

The Buncrana native, who is based in Galway, was elected onto the Board in December 2019 having been the SLO up to then.

He was confirmed as the Communication and Engagement Officer in 2020.

McNelis had indicated last year that he intended to step down, but was re-elected at the most recent Annual General Meeting (AGM) in December.

“I have stepped down from the board of FHFC,” McNelis confirmed in a social media post.

“I will remain as a volunteer but can no longer dedicate the time needed to be on the board.

“There are great people in there battling away on the club's behalf and it was great being a part of it, but for now I need to step back.”
