Ronan Curtis celebrates the goal against Exeter recently which made him Portsmouth’s top scorer in the 21st century.
Ronan Curtis was on the scoresheet, but Portsmouth conceded in stoppage time to lose 3-2 at Oxford United in League One.
The St Johnston man drove Portsmouth into a 2-1 lead early in the second half.
Michael Jacobs immediately cancelled out Luke McNally’s early opener, but Portsmouth were down to ten men when Joe Morrell was sent off.
The start to the second half was delayed by 20 minutes to due wan ‘incident’.
Pompey hit the front when Curtis round the goalkeeper and slotted home after getting on the end of Jacobs’ pass.
Cameron Brannagan levelled in the closing stages of normal time, however, before substitute Nathan Holland struck at the death.
Portsmouth are 13th in League One.
