LyIT pictured before their semi-final win
The arrangements have been confirmed for Letterkenny Institute of Technology’s Colleges & Universities Football League Division One final.
Shane Byrne’s LyIT will face Dundalk IT in the decider next Tuesday, March 1, at 2pm. The final will take place at Queen’s University, Belfast.
A Pat Loughrey hat-trick saw LyIT beat TUS Midwest in their semi-final, the Port Road students winning 4-2 after extra time at the AUL Complex.
LyIT came from two down to win the semi-final.
The big prize on offer from the semi-final was promotion back to the Premier Division.
With their place in the top tier now secured, LyIT have a chance to round their campaign off with some silverware next Tuesday.
