Letterkenny teenager Adam Murphy has become the latest Donegal footballer to take up a scholarship in the United States.

Murphy, who is on the books of Finn Harps having joined recently from Bonagee United, will move to Coastal Bend College in Texas later this year.

Murphy will feature in the National Junior College Athletic Association’s Top 20 programme.

The midfielder plays with Finn Harps Under-19s after transferring from Bonagee United, with whom he won the John Gorey Curran Cup in the Donegal Youth League in November.

Murphy’s older brother, Sam, also embarked on the scholarship route, playing at University of Mount Olive, graduating last year.
