The strong Donegal contingent at Irish League side Dergview will continue into the 2022/23 season.

Tommy Canning has retained the services of six Donegal men as his preparation for next season gets underway.

Goalkeeper Paddy McGarvey, who made a loan move from Finn Harps in January, is among those confirmed.

The 18-year-old Dungloe man made seven appearances for Dergview and will be back for the next Lough 41 Championship campaign.

Letterkenny native Oran Brogan transferred from Institute in the January transfer window and has also been confirmed as returning to Darragh Park again.

Kieran Farren from Carndonagh, a former Finn Harps player, was a regular in the Dergview defence last season, and has committed for another term.

Keenan Diver from Killea and Buncrana’s Pat Loughrey, both former Finn Harps Under-19 players, will also be back, as will Letterkenny’s Zach Gorman.

Former Harps players Sean McCarron, Niall McGinley and Jamie Browne have also extended their stays at Dergview with new deals for next season.

Dergview finished sixth in the Championship in the 2021/22 season and are managed by ex-Harps Under-19 boss Tommy Canning.
