Planning permission has been sought for the development of a new Orange Hall in Ballintra.
A planning application has been lodged with Donegal County Council.
The proposed development seeks to remove the existing Orange Hall at Ballymagroarty Scotch, Ballintra.
The proposal seeks the go-ahead for the erection of a new Orange Hall while the application also provides for the installation of a wastewater treatment system and associated drainage and site works, including a car park.
The application was lodged by Mr David Mahon, who is the Donegal County Grand Master of the Orange Order, on behalf of the Ballymagroarty Loyal Orange Lodge.
The Ballymagroarty LOL 1439 use the hall, which is also the home of the Ballymagroarty Accordion Band.
Last summer, the Ballymagroarty Accordion Band travelled to Canada and took part in the Toronto 200th Anniversary parade.
