As part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme, Uisce Éireann (formerly Irish Water) say that mains repair works may cause supply disruptions to Church Road, Bundoran and surrounding areas this week.
There have been traffic lights operating on the main arterial route towards Kinlough for the past month with a stop and go sign that is also affecting traffic accessing and coming off the N15 Bundoran bypass.
Works are scheduled to take place from 9am until 5pm on August 30 (Wednesday) and it should also be noted that this is the first day back at school for the town's children of St Macartan's national School, which is located just off Church Road.
The local Magh Ene secondary school is also located on Church Road, with first year's commencing Tuesday and other classes returning on Wednesday and Thursday.
As per usual, Uisce Eireann recommend that you allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return.
