Nappies needed for orphanages
Killybegs Women’s Group is collecting for the Belarus, Vesnova Orphanages/Homes at the moment.
They will gratefully accept blankets, sheets, adult and children’s clothes and shoes, sanitary wear, adult and children’s nappies, toiletries, adult and children’s OTC medicines, walking frames, crutches, colouring books/ crayons/pencils/pens.
Due to custom restrictions, cuddly toys only. They are asking that all items be clean, ironed, folded neatly and in strong plastic bags please.
You can drop your items off in Killybegs at Mooney Boats old store, Shore Road on Saturday, February 19, during the afternoon and on Sunday morning, February 20 when the lorry for Chernobyl will be loaded.
