The team at the Donegal Local and Development (DLDC) were this week contacted by the team of In the Land of the Saints and Sinners. The film crew heard that the team at the DLDC were helping to support Ukrainian famililes in teh area and said that stars Liam Neeson and Ciarán Hinds wanted to meet some of the families. The generous-hearted stars also wanted to give the children a gift.
Those at the Niall Mór Centre in Killybegs were delighted to host the event and eighty Ukrainian women and children came along, and it was a very emotional and heart-warming event.
