Former Bray man Scully helps Harps to win over the Wanderers

After two defeats on the bounce, Finn Harps picked up a much needed win over Bray Wanderers at Finn Park on Friday night.

Former Bray man, Dave Scully scored the only goal of the game on eight minutes.

Harps were far from convincing as Bray controlled this game for much of the contest.

However, for all their effort and endeavour, the visitors created very little in the way of clear-cut openings and Harps held out for the win.

Harps are back up to seventh in the Premier Division table, ahead of Bohs on goal difference.

Next up is Monday night's League Cup second round tie at Galway United.
