Sean Houston returned to his former club and stole an injury time equaliser as Finn Harps denied Derry City a North West derby victory on Tuesday night.
DERRY CITY 2
FINN HARPS 2
Houston, back in his second spell at Harps, rose majestically to guide home an injury time header to level the scores at 2-2.
In an amazing conclusion to the game at the Brandywell, Derry had scored twice in the space of four late minutes to turn this game on its head.
Ryan Curran, another former Derry player, had opened the scoring for Harps on 20 minutes.
However, Derry drew level through substitute Joshua Daniels on 83.
They then looked to be on their way to the win when Rory Patterson curled home a delightful second on 87.
But credit to Harps, they got the point their hard working performance deserved when Houston headed in Ciaran Coll's cross on 91.
