Swilly Rovers FC look set to end a 30 year association with the Ulster Senior League after club delegates voted to leave the league.
The decision was made at a club meeting on Wednesday night.
It's understood the Ramelton club will apply to join the Donegal League for next season.
Swilly Rovers have been members of the Ulster Senior League since it was established in 1986. They have a proud record in the league over the years and were champions in 2000.
The decision will be seen as a major blow to the league itself. The future of the USL has been the subject of much debate and Swilly's departure means only five clubs will be left.
