Donegal GAA county squad had to train in car park

Donegal Ladies GAA are actively looking for playing facilities of their own after a winter of having to beg and borrow for training and playing facilities for their teams.

It's thought the straw that broke the camel’s back was when a county underage squad had to train in a car park in Letterkenny earlier this year, after the pitch they were due to train on was unavailable.

The Ladies County Board have already looked at a number of sites in the Ballybofey, Killygordon and Convoy areas but nothing has yet been finalised. They are actively viewing a number of other sites in the centre of the county.
