Shay Given's Stoke City eased into the next round of England's League Cup when they won 4-0 at League Two Stevenage on Tuesday night.
Given kept a clean sheet as the Premier Division outfit proved too strong for a Stevenage team which included Letterkenny's Dale Gorman in midfield.
They weren't the only Donegal players in League Cup action on Tuesday night.
Ramelton's Conrad Logan was in goal for Rochdale in their 2nd round tie at QPR. The Loftus Road side won 2-1.
Meanwhile Shane Duffy scored a dramatic extra time winner for Blackburn Rovers as they came from behind to beat Crewe Alexandra 4-3 at Ewood Park.
For Duffy, whose father Brian is from Letterkenny, it was an extra sweet goal.
He'd scored three own goals in his last two league games for the Championship outfit.
