John McElhill and Noeleen Scanlon were the winners of the Aurivo/Donegal Creameries 5k in Killygordon on Tuesday night.
John McElhill, Killygordon, was the first man home and Noeleen Scanlon, from Drumkeen, was the first woman to cross the finish line.
In all over 250 runners, joggers and walkers completed the fifth annual running of event which is run in aid of charity.
This year’s charity is the children’s charity Childline. Last year, the event raised €6,700 and this year’s event is expected to raise a similar amount.
Auviro/Donegal, which runs similar events at their other outlets around the country, matches the funds raised by the event to double the funding to the nominated charity.
