The reserves played their postponed fixture with Gaoth Dobhair in Fr Tierney Park on Saturday evening. The homesters had the better of things in the first half with a Darren Gethins goal and points from Anthony ‘Waddle’ Coughlan, Aidan Murray and Dylan Gallagher helping them to a two point lead at the interval. The Gaeltacht men upped the ante in the second half and despite points from Conal Sweeney, Ryan O’Brien, Dylan Gallagher and Cian Dolan the visitors managed to eke out a 1-10 to 1-8 win.

A couple of months ago it looked like we may not have had an under 16 team this year, but these lads have put in a huge effort so far this season.
