Hurling- The under 16s had a busy couple of days last week, taking on the top two teams in the league. First up on Tuesday was a meeting with St Eunan's. We got off to a great start and led by four points early on. Unfortunately as the game wore on our work rate and discipline was diminished. St Eunan's were quick to punish mistakes and their ability to hit the net proved the difference as they ran out comfortable 7-9 to 2-10 winners.
On Thursday the under 16s put in a much improved effort against table toppers Setanta. Despite losing out 3-15 to 3-6 there were a lot of positives to be taken from the game.
We finished third in the league so now play Buncrana in the A Shield final.

AN TEARMAINN
Our senior men's teams both played away to Sean Mac Cumhaills on Saturday evening. Our seniors played their best game of the season defeating the home side and in doing so retained their status in Divisions 2 for next season. The reserves lost their final game of the league.
Attention now turns to Championship with the first game being at home to nieghbours St Michael's on Saturday evening. Check fixtures for times.
Well done to all the u10 girls who took part in the LK Gaels tournament on Saturday. Eight clubs had girls teams involved, so competition was tough. Our Termon girls performed really well. The girls were: Muireann Reidy, Roisin Whoriskey, Lucy Trearty, Laoise Duggan, Noinin Quinn, Emma Doherty, Grace Strain, Grainne Gallagher, Cayla Mc Fadden, Cara McLaughlin, Bridin Friel, Kate McCafferty, Lauren McCaul, Maeve Strain, Sadie McGettigan and Orla Cunningham.
Our U9 and U10 boys also took part in the same tournament. Our B team were in a very strong group of Letterkenny Gaels, Buncrana (tournament winners), Gweedore and Ardara. They won all their games to advance to the semi final of the cup competition. There they defeated Glenswilly but lost in the final to a strong Four Masters side.
The A team defeated the hosts Letterkenny Gaels and Gweedore and had already qualified for the cup competition before playing Ardara. In the semi final they beat a Four Masters side who were unbeaten in the group stages. In the final against a very strong Ardara side, we were level after normal time. We had a free to win the game, unfortunately the hooter sounded and we were not allowed to take the free. After extra time an exceptional Ardara side secured the win after an exceptional game from both teams.
Team A. Brendan Cunningham, Damhan McGettigan, Michael Moore, McKenzie Friel, Ronan Cunningham, Ciaran Conaghan, Charlie Gorman (capt). John Cannon, Fionn McGrenra, Jake Burrowes, Oisin Kelly, Barry Doherty.
Team B Daithi McGlynn (Captain) Joey Gorman, Anthony McCole, Tarlagh Diver, Lee McGettigan, Caolan McTaggart, Jamie Toland, Gavin Gallagher, Shay Roarty, Shea McGettigan, Cormac Sweeney, Michael Boyle, Charlie Gallagher, Jack McFadden, Liam Boner.
Coaching this week on Thursday 6 to 7.15 & Saturday 10.30 to 11.45. The schedule for the next few weeks sees these boys play in the St Eunans tournament on Saturday 15th & the Four Masters tournament on Saturday 22nd.
Our U14 boys season cane to an end last week in disappointing fashion. Unfortunately Downings would not facilitate our request to play our U14 Div 3 shield semi final. Our A team were well beaten by a very impressive Dungloe/Na Rossa team on Friday in the County A Semi final. Again it was a hugely disappointing end to what had been a fantastic season for this team. Thanks to Paddy Mc Menamin and Hugh Harkin for their work since February with this team.
Preparation for the U16 Div 1 League Final has picked up pace. We will face Four Masters in the final. No date confirmed yet.
Lotto: Next draw is in The Glenveagh Inn with Jackpot being €4550.
