It was another busy weekend on the sporting front with pride of place going to the Donegal athletes who enjoyed so much success at the National Intermediate and Masters Championships in Dunboyne, Co. Meath.

Donegal Hurlers won again, defeating Longford in the National Hurling League Division 3A. However, there was no joy for the Donegal players on the Ulster side who lost out against Connaught in the final of the football Interprovincials.

In soccer, Letterkenny Rovers youths are through to the FAI Youth Cup quarter final following a thrilling win over Ballybrack in Dublin on Sunday.
