Conor Coyle in action for Cloughaneely
Congratulations to Conor Coyle of Cloughaneely who was part of the DCU Dochas Eireann team who lifted the Davy Billings Cup for the Division 1 Freshers title.
DCU defeated UCCl in the final at Carlow IT by an impressive 5-9 to 2-12. The ability to score goals was the big factor with the DCU side also hitting the post on a couple of occasions.
They led at half-time but an early third quarter blitz saw UCC go ahead by a point but three goals in a short period for the Dublin side put them on their way.
Conor Coyle was corner back on the winning team and played his part. Coyle was part of the Cloughaneely side that won the Donegal IFC crown last year following a replayed final win over Dungloe.
