Two airlifted to hospital following a collision in Donegal
A two-vehicle collision occurred in Magheraroarty on Sunday, July 12, around 7pm
Two people were airlifted to the hospital following a collision near Gortahork.
The collision between a jeep and a quad occurred shortly after 7pm on Sunday, July 12, on the Main Road from Magheroarty towards Meenlaragh.
The drivers of both vehicles were airlifted to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
“We appeal to anyone who may have travelled along that stretch of road between 7pm and 7.30pm on that date with a dash-cam to make the footage available to us,” Garda Grainne Doherty said. “If anybody witnessed the collision, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530.”
