Thunderstorms and plenty of rain expected before 25 degree blast later this week
The dry weather looks set to come to an end according to Met Éireann's latest forecast, however there doesn't seem to be an end in store for the sunshine or the high temperatures.
Although the forecast for the coming days includes plenty of showers, Ireland's Weather Channel has reassured that the good weather has not come to a complete stop just yet.
They said: "From Tuesday through to the start of the following week our weather turns very settled once again with high pressure the dominant force. This will ensure dry sunny days with light variable or southeasterly winds. Getting warmer too with highs by next weekend of up to 24 or 25 degrees Celsius in some locations.
Here's how the weather is shaping up for the next few days.
Saturday night will continue to be dry in most areas with just some isolated showers in the northwest and some drizzle along the west coast. Temperatures will dip between 3 and 7 degrees, with some areas seeing mist and fog developing.
Sunday will be mostly dry with some cloud as well as hazy sunny spells. However, patchy rain will start to develop in parts of west Connacht and west Ulster throughout Sunday. It will also become more cloudy as the day goes on with more outbreaks of rain spreading towards the southeast. Highest temperatures will reach between 15 and 20 degrees.
