Mostly cloudy today in Donegal with scattered outbreaks of light rain and drizzle.
The rain and drizzle will gradually clear later in the afternoon and evening, with some scattered showers to follow and perhaps a few limited bright or sunny spells in western parts. Highest temperatures of 15 or 16 degrees and it'll be breezy with moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty southeasterly winds, gradually easing later.
Tonight will bring a good deal of cloud and a scattering of showers. More persistent rain will push into western parts later in the night. Lowest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees with winds decreasing mostly light to moderate southerly.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, will be mostly cloudy at first, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. However it'll become brighter and breezy or rather windy from the west through afternoon, with sunshine and showers following.
The showers will become heavy at times, especially in the west and north, where they'll be most frequent. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees, with winds veering westerly and increasing moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty, stronger in the west and northwest, with coastal gales likely in the northwest later.
