A dry start with a chance of a few bright spells this Saturday morning in Donegal.

Cloud and southeast winds increasing during the afternoon with outbreaks of rain moving in from the southwest, becoming widespread during the evening. Highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees with moderate to fresh and gusty southeasterly winds developing, stronger near coasts.

Rain will become widespread early tonight. It will be persistent and heavy at times. Temperatures not falling below 10 to 12 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds

Heavy and persistent rain at first, with further thundery falls and spot flooding possible. The rain will clear northeastwards through the morning and afternoon with sunshine and showers following from the southwest. Fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds at first but winds will ease light and become southerly behind the rain. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees.
