Dry and bright today, with sunny spells and isolated showers after cloud and any lingering rain clears early.
Becoming cloudier through the evening with scattered showers moving eastwards, turning heavy at times with a chance of hail. Highest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds.
Tonight, showers will continue in the northwest while easing elsewhere with clear spells developing. Cloud will thicken from the southwest overnight with rain and drizzle following by morning. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees with southerly winds increasing moderate to fresh through the night.
A wet and blustery day tomorrow, Friday, with rain becoming widespread and turning heavy at times. Southeasterly winds will increase strong and gusty with gales at times on exposed coasts. Scattered showers and some brighter spells will follow from the southwest through the afternoon and evening as winds ease moderate to fresh southwesterly. Some of the showers will be heavy. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees.
