Wet and breezy to start Wednesday in Donegal, with widespread outbreaks of rain and drizzle, possibly falling as sleet or snow for a time in the northwest and on higher ground.
In some places, already saturated ground, together with strong onshore winds coinciding with high tides, some spot and coastal flooding are likely. Highs of 2 to 6 degrees. Moderate to fresh southeasterly winds will be stronger near coasts.
Turning drier overnight as the rain and drizzle become lighter and patchier. A cold night with lows of 0 to 3 degrees in light to moderate and occasionally fresh east to southeast winds.
After a mostly dry start, light rain and drizzle tomorrow will slowly spread eastwards across the province through the day. Drier and brighter conditions will follow from the west. Highs of 5 to 8 degrees in mainly light to moderate southerly or variable winds.
