A Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for Donegal this weekend with the arrival of Storm Dave.
The warning is valid from Saturday at 3pm until midnight on Sunday.
Storm Dave will bring very strong southerly winds, veering westerly by the evening with severe gusts and coastal gales. Possible impacts include some fallen trees and branches, wave overtopping, difficult traveling conditions and debris or loose objects displaced.
Donegal County Council issued the weather alert.

The whole country will be under Status Yellow warnings from Met Éireann as Storm Dave makes landfall.
