It was agreed today at the Glenties Municipal District meeting in Dungloe that councillors would meet every two months rather than every month.

The six councillors of the Glenties Municipal District met on the second Tuesday of every month, historically.

Municipal disctricts meet throughout the county on a monthly basis. Meetings are not held during the months of August and December.

The next meeting of the Glenties Municipal District will take place in May.
