"My aunt lives in Falcarragh, Donegal, and I’ve always had strong ties to Ireland, spending much of my childhood visiting Tipperary, where my dad is from, and Enniskillen, where my mum's family hails from. I'm passionate about supporting mental health and the Irish community, and as a member of the development committee for ICAP, a charity dedicated to these causes, I find great fulfilment in giving back."

Glasgow’s Niamh Brown has been selected to represent Glasgow at this year’s event in July. She is a granddaughter of Tony Mai of Mullaghderg and Mullaghduff.
