Jamesie O'Donnell retires after forty years in the pub trade

A great night was had by all who attended Jamesie O'Donnell’s retirement part at Cassidy’s pub on Camden Street in Dublin on Tuesday night.
The evening was organised by Chris O'Donnell, Jamesie’s son and people from across the country travelled to be present for the special evening. Jamesie has spent over four decades in the pub business making his retirement very much deserved.

The evening was described as ‘fantastic night’ by those in attendance. He was entertained by his good friend Kathy Durkan, Johnny Peter’s band, known as Johnny Jump Up and last but not least of all by his talented son Chris who is a member of the famous band, Rake the Ashes.
Jamesie will be sorely missed behind the bar by all the Donegal clientele and his regulars in Dublin.
The pub is well known as one of the most popular Donegal watering holes in the capital.
