The Donegal Bay Film Festival will be returning as part of the Bluestacks Festival

The Donegal Bay Film Festival is returning as part of Donegal Bay and Bluestacks Festival.

The event will be running for free in Eclipse Cinema Bundoran, this will run over two nights.

The short programmes will showcase the best of the Northwest filmmakers across documentary and drama. This will lead to discussion and question and answer sessions with the filmmakers after each screening. 

The programme offers a wide range of films from surf documentaries, experimental to social realist drama.

Some of the previous work from the award winning Northwest filmmakers include writer and filmmaker Ben Conway who worked on ‘One Way’ with Kevin Bacon and Machine Gun Kelly. Writer and filmmaker James Doherty who worked on ‘The Final Countdown’. Actress, writer and filmmaker Dorothy Duffy starred in Peterloo and the Magdalene Sisters.

The festival will run on October 2 and 3. Tickets are available on eventbrite.
