A spokesperson said: "We’re delighted to welcome Edel McBride, a renowned Irish knitwear and crochet designer, known for her exquisite craftsmanship, heritage-inspired designs, and deep passion for working with wool.

"Edel will be sharing her skills and chatting about the simple tools of her trade. Whether you knit, crochet, or are just curious to get started, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn from one of Ireland’s most respected designers.

"Bring along your knitting or crochet basket! Ask Edel anything about wool, patterning, designing, or finishing techniques. Whether you want to ‘cast on’ or ‘hook up’ for the first time, or simply get inspired, we’d love to see you there!"

The market takes place this Friday, March 7 from 10am to 1pm in the Friary Hall, Rossnowlagh.

As always, there will be a fantastic range of local food and craft produce, as well as a warm welcome and wonderful community atmosphere.

More information and updates on the weekly event can be found at the Rossnowlagh Farmers Market Facebook page.
