A protest showing solidarity with Palestine will take place in Ardara.
The gathering is being organised to show support for those in Gaza who are facing genocide, to call for an end to the ongoing siege. The vigil will take place tomorrow at 8pm on The Diamond.
Organisers are encouraging people to bring flags, candles, and banners to help create a powerful message of solidarity. The guest speakers include former Donegal GAA star Brendan Devenny and Senator Eileen Flynn, both of whom have spoken out previously in support of human rights and justice for the Palestinian people.
“I know it can feel like there's nothing we can do, but the tide of opinion is changing and governments are feeling a lot of pressure, so every little action is important,” Ardara Palestine Solidarity Group posted. “The least we can do is make it clear that we don't accept it.”
