‘Letterkenny you beauty’ - The Saw Doctors full of praise for Donegal audience

The Saw Doctors took to social media to thank and praise the audience for the fantastic response to their Summer Sessions gig in Letterkenny. 

“Letterkenny you beauty,” the post reads. “Ye were loud and fantastic from start to finish. People as far as the eye could see. 

“We loved every minute of it. We love being back in Donegal. 

“Safe home. 

“Til next time.”

The set list included enduring classics such as Presentation Boarder, I Useta Love Her, Red Cortina and N17.

Summer Sessions

The concert marked the opening night of Summer Sessions which continues on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 21, 22, 23 and 24.

The Human League will headline on Thursday, with special guests including fellow ‘80s pop icon Nik Kershaw with his full band,  and the Undertones. 

Picture This takes to the stage on Friday evening and again on Saturday. Special guests will be the equally fantastic Tors, Simple Things, and Dave Lofts.

Summer Sessions presents the inaugural Memories event  Live at the Big Top in Letterkenny on Sunday. 

Organisers say: “Memories is the Ultimate Day Time Party featuring a massive line up of live performances by Cascada, B Witched, Alice DJ, DJ Sammy, Flip n Fill, Mark McCabe, N- Trance, Special D and Whigfield. 

“Not to mention so much more happening on the day including Belfast Brunch Co, Battle of the DJs, and Lip Sync Battles! Karaoke, Cocktails, Loads of Bars, Boutique Food Vendors. 

“This will be the fun event of the summer!”

Gates open at 3pm, with a 21+ age restriction.
