Parents of teenagers in Buncrana are being invited to attend a special Cyber Safety Workshop aimed at helping families navigate the challenges of the online world.
Organised by Buncrana’s Children’s Charity in partnership with CyberSafeKids, the event will take place on Wednesday, September 10, at 7:30pm in St Mary’s Hall.

The workshop is designed to equip parents and guardians with the knowledge and confidence they need to keep their teenagers safe online. Attendees will learn practical tips on spotting potential risks, managing online activity, and starting important conversations at home about internet use.
The event is particularly recommended for parents or guardians of secondary-aged children, as well as professionals who work closely with teenagers, such as teachers and youth workers. With the ever-increasing role of technology and social media in young people’s lives, the workshop offers an important opportunity for parents to stay informed and proactive in protecting their children online.
