Cara House Family Resource Centre has launched a Carers Support Group aimed at providing a safe and welcoming space for those caring for loved ones.
The next group will take place on Tuesday, September 9 at 12pm. The group offers carers the opportunity to share experiences, access support, and take time for themselves. Sessions will include guest speakers, refreshments, and self-care activities, helping participants to connect with others in similar roles while also focusing on their own well-being.
Organisers say the group is designed to be “a safe space to talk” and hopes to ease the isolation and challenges often experienced by carers. For more info, contact befriending@carahouse.ie or 0838638315
