Letterkenny Music and Drama Group to present the fantastic musical ‘The Band’

Letterkenny Music and Drama Group are excited to be presenting the fantastic musical ‘The Band’ in An Grianan Theatre from Tuesday 25 to Saturday, November 29.

Think … Derry Girls meets Calendar Girls, set to a soundtrack of Take That hits, what more could you want! It's the 90s and for five 16-year-old girls, 'The Band' is everything. Thirty years later, the group of girls, who were once inseparable, reunite in Prague to see their heartthrobs one last time, and try once more to fulfil their dream of meeting the boy band whose music became the soundtrack to their lives.

Directed by Tina Higgins, and from the writer of ‘Calendar Girls The Musical’ and songs by Take That, this show is a mix of laughter, tears and nostalgia. Including songs such as ‘Never Forget’, ‘Patience’, ‘Relight my Fire’, ‘Shine’, and ‘A Million Love Songs’, Letterkenny Music and Drama Group can’t wait for everyone to see it and sing along!

Previous productions by LMDG include Sister Act, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, All Shook Up, our AIMS award-winning Calendar Girls The Musical, and last year's epic Shrek The Musical. Last year, the group staged a hugely successful ‘Lip Sync Battle’ with St. Eunans GAA Club, and won the All-Ireland One-Act Drama Festival with Kieran Kelly’s fantastic play ‘Cider Park’.

Join us in An Grianan Theatre from November 25th-29th for a show that cannot be missed! To check remaining ticket availability, contact An Grianan box office on 0749120777, or visit www.angrianan.com.
