Artisans based in Inishowen have the opportunity to showcase their crafts at "Meet the Maker" Buncrana Christmas Market.
The Christmas Market will be held at Swan Park and run from Monday, November 24, until Sunday, December 7.
Artisans will be invited to take part in the market, where they will be able to access a dedicated cabin at a reduced rate for a day.
Joan Crawford, Wild Atlantic Way Programme Manager with Fáilte Ireland, stated: “Winter Meet the Maker is a flagship initiative designed to champion the creative sector across the Inishowen Peninsula. Anchored in the objectives of the Destination Experience Development Plan and the Wild Atlantic Way Regional Development Strategy, this event will provide a vital platform to showcase local talent, stimulate off-season visitation, and foster sustainable tourism growth.
“By increasing awareness of the rich tapestry of experiences available, it encourages deeper engagement with the region’s creative offerings and supports year-round economic resilience.”
Any Inishowen-based artisans producing arts and crafts in this region who are interested in participating should visit the Go Visit Inishowen website.
