Twin Towns set to sparkle with Christmas markets and lights switch-on

McElhinneys in Ballybofey will unveil its Christmas window display on Sunday

Ballybofey and Stranorlar are set to transform into a festive wonderland on Sunday, November 16, as the annual Christmas Markets and Town Lights Celebration returns.

The event will feature live music and entertainment, local crafts and food stalls, and the grand unveiling of McElhinneys’ Christmas Window Display. Festivities begin from 12:30pm, with Santa Claus making a special appearance at 4:45pm, followed by the switch-on of the town lights.

Organised by the Ballybofey & Stranorlar Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Go Visit Donegal, the celebration promises a magical day to kick off the holiday season.
