The dinner dance will be held in the Waterfront Hotel, Dungloe
A dinner dance has been planned as part of preparation for the 50th Burtonport Summer Festival.
The event, which features music from Chrissy Mac, will take place in the Waterfront Hotel, Dungloe, on Saturday, April 11, at 7 pm.
“We anticipate a big attendance as a mark of appreciation towards all those who have kept our very popular festival going on a yearly basis since 1977 and no doubt many stories will be told on the night,” organisers said. Tickets are available in the Port Gift Shop in Burtonport.

The annual festival, running from July 17 to July 25 2026, hosts live music and community events for all ages. A monthly table quiz is held in aid of the festival and committee members have been compiling a booklet with stories and memories from over the years, as well as a festival calendar.
