Cara House Family Resource Centre in Letterkenny
Cara House Events is delighted to announce a special programme of activities to mark Social Inclusion Week, taking place on Monday, April 13 in Letterkenny.
The day will begin with a welcoming Community Gardaí Coffee Morning from 11am to 12:30pm at Cara House. This informal gathering offers an opportunity for local residents to connect with Community Gardaí, enjoy refreshments, and strengthen community ties in a relaxed and friendly environment. All adult members of the community are warmly invited to attend.
Following the coffee morning, the celebrations will continue with a vibrant World Music Celebration Day starting at 1pm in the Cara House drop-in room. This year’s event promises an exciting musical experience, featuring special guest professional cellist Victor Yelamo, alongside the much-anticipated return of the New Land Choir.
To round off the week, Cara House Events will host a Social Inclusion Dance on Friday, April 17 from 11am to 1pm at the Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny. This lively and inclusive event is free to attend and open to all adult members of the community, offering a fun opportunity to connect, move, and celebrate together.
The World Music Celebration highlights the richness of cultural diversity through music and aims to bring people together in a spirit of inclusion, creativity, and shared enjoyment.

Admission to the coffee morning is free and open to all adults. Tickets for the World Music Celebration Day are also free but must be booked in advance via Eventbrite.
