Royal Flush Results: There was no winner of the Jackpot in the Royal Flush draw on Sunday January 23rd. Nos drawn was: 3, 5, 8, 20. Consolation prizes went to Shane Reynolds, George Mc Mullin & Frank Quinn Castletown. The Jackpot is worth €1980 for next Sunday nights draw.
Team Membership: The fee for membership for 2011 is as follows, Senior & Reserve €50, Students & unemployed €30, Minors €20, U-Age €10 and General membership €20. It is important for all players to have their membership paid as soon as possible. For anyone who may be needing tickets for all ticket matches during the year, membership needs to be paid to be avail of a ticket or to be in the draw for tickets.
Quiz Nite: The club are holding a quiz nite on Saturday night, January 29th in Mac’s Bar at 10pm. Quiz master Colm Shovlin. We would appreciate your support for this event, so if you can organise a team, please do as it adds to the competition and enjoyment of the quiz.
Card Drive: The 25 card drive has resumed in Mary Murrin’s Bar on Thursday nights at 9.30 pm. Everyone welcome. Even if you haven’t played cards before this is the place to learn as it is a casual and enjoyable event. The ladies who might like to play are welcome too as there are a few ladies already taking part. It costs €5 to pay in. A portion of the entry fee goes to the GAA Club so we would hope that members will come along and support. Darts have also resumed on Saturday nights.
Open Darts Tournament: An Open Darts Tournament will be held in the Bluestack Centre, Drimarone on Sunday 30th January 2011. Cup and Shield Prizes to be won, along with generous cash prizes. Bar services and Food will be available on the day. Commencing at 3pm sharp. Entry Fee of €15. All entries must be in by 2pm on Sunday 30th Jan.
